CONSULTANT
Peter Catchings brings a decade of experience working at the intersection of philanthropy, education, workforce development, and economic mobility. He helps public agencies, foundations, and community partners turn ambitious ideas into funded, executable programs that create meaningful opportunities for underserved communities.
Before entering the social impact sector, Peter served as a fellow with Hillary Clinton for America, an experience that sharpened his belief that policy, people, and resources must move together to create lasting change. Peter has since anchored his work in moving capital to the communities that need it most, building systems that make opportunity sustainable, and brokering trust across sectors that typically do not naturally speak the same language.
Most recently, Peter advised national foundations including Pritzker Traubert, Walton Family Foundation, and Bloomberg Philanthropies on multi-million dollar workforce and economic mobility initiatives. He has unlocked major institutional investments in regional workforce ecosystems, connected hundreds of workers to healthcare careers, and scaled proven funding models into new markets by building the replication frameworks that allow good ideas to travel.
Peter holds an M.B.A. from Roosevelt University's Heller College of Business and a B.A. in Politics from Cornell College. Outside of work, you can find him in New York City playing basketball, practicing Pilates, playing board games, and enjoying a warm cup of ginger tea.
