OPEN POSITIONS
Consultant, Human Services
Salary: $90,000-$110,000 base + two annual bonus opportunities
Location: Remote (Work from home)
Schedule: Working on projects across time zones in the United States (most often Pacific Time)
About the Job
We are currently seeking a Consultant to support our growing Human Services practice that is working with state and local government clients improve how critical public programs are designed and delivered to residents, workers, and families.
What You Will Do:
Develop realistic work plans and manage projects to timelines and budgets
Develop reports, one-pagers, summaries, memos, decks, and other deliverables
Analyze data and provide actionable insights
Coordinate and facilitate meetings in person and virtually
Provide subject matter expertise in human services programs and systems and/or workforce development programs (such as SNAP, Medicaid, SNAP E&T, child welfare, TANF, WIOA, and others)
Stay abreast of human services and workforce development policy and regulatory changes, national trends and promising practices in the field and develop the ability to advise and provide tailored solutions to clients
Provide human services and workforce development program management and implementation support
Identify requests for proposals from state and local agencies and coordinate, write, and produce responses
Build and nurture relationships with Trailhead clients and partners
Communicate with internal teammates
Position Requirements
This position requires at least one of the following:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university and at least four (4) years of experience in consulting, project management, data analytics, workforce development, government, or a related field or
Masters degree in relevant discipline (MPP, MBA, MPA, MSW, MPH, or similar) and at least two (2) years of relevant work experience or
Minimum six (6) years of experience in consulting, project management, workforce development, human services, policy, data analytics, or a related field.
This position also requires the following:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, project management/work management platforms, visualization software, and other technologies
Strong verbal communication skills and writing skills, without the assistance of AI, to produce high-quality deliverables
High-level analytical abilities to interpret information and data and draw reasonable conclusions.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities
Demonstrated success working with cross-functional teams and diverse interest holders
Significant experience working with public funds and/or publicly funded agencies
Experience working in or alongside in human services programs and systems and/or workforce development programs
Strong project management experience; PMP highly desired.
Willingness to travel as needed

Our Compensation Package:
Base pay: $90,000-$110,000 DOE
Bonus: Up to 30% of annual salary, paid twice per year based on performance and firm profitability
$1,000 health care and work-from-home stipend,
401(k) with employer-match
Unlimited PTO.
