Cara Warlick is an education and public sector professional with experience guiding complex initiatives across nonprofit, government, and education organizations. Her background includes expertise in project management, strategic planning, policy development, operational leadership, and stakeholder engagement, with a focus on improving outcomes for children and families.

Prior to Trailhead, Cara served as Director of Education Policy & Operations at Bezos Academy, where she led a team that was instrumental in launching more than 30 preschools across five states. Prior to Bezos Academy, she served as a Policy Advisor for Rhode Island Governor Gina M. Raimondo, leading cross-agency early childhood initiatives and securing more than $50 million in competitive grant funding. Cara began her career as an elementary school teacher through Teach For America and holds a Master of Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor of Arts from Brown University.
